Don't worry about a thing! Everything that you need is supplied for you. Just wear comfortable clothing and bring your creativity. You will find that pottery is easier when your fingernails are a little shorter though.
We supply an apron for each participant and all of the clay and glazes needed.
For each participant, firing of two pots per session is included in the cost.
Extra firing is available at $5.00 per item.

We have that special celebration covered, or perhaps just a novel treat for you and your friends and family.
Your group will be gently guided through the process of throwing a pot on the pottery wheel.
After the session your creations will be bisque fired in the kiln, glazed and then re fired ready for you to collect within a few weeks

Kids love clay and will thank you for this chance to alternate between the pottery wheel, and painting a pre made pot.
This session allows for you to bring up to 10 children. It is best suited for ages 8+.
Each child will be dressed in a pottery apron and given a pottery party bag which contains clay and pottery tools to take home for more creativity. Up to two items will be processed, glazed and fired for each child after the party, ready for collection in a few weeks.
At THE POTTERY PLACE we offer beginner pottery classes for ages 8+ in a fun and supportive studio, where no prior skills are needed.
Enjoy the therapeutic properties of clay as you experience the pottery wheel. Our classes focus on the process and provide the opportunity to be mindful and escape the stress of daily life.
If you are attending multiple sessions, you will be guided through the process of trimming and glazing your pots.
Alternatively If required your pots will be processed for you, ready to be collected within a few weeks.
Fun is guaranteed when you have bubbles and clay. A complementary beverage is supplied on arrival, and you are welcome to BYO additional refreshments if you wish.
